  After the confirmed booking with the pay later policy, the owner is asking for money offline, and just before me, he asked someone else too for the money for booking the same room offline. Now he is verbally canceling my booking. I can't roam around from one hotel to another hotel with my aged family members in the morning after a whole night journey. Moreover, what will happen, they will relocate me to a different property, which may not be up to the mark. I might not like the cleanliness of rooms and toilets. That might be in some bad location with no beach, market, city center access. Ultimately it will be true harassment of us. I don't expect this kind of messy check-in experience. all booking sites should be more cautious regarding this kind of fraudulent property, who list the property online and get the exposure to the customers, and bid and negotiate price offline via phone calls.
